About Us

We are a family owned and operated design-build architecture firm which spans three generations. L & S has been designing and building architecture in the Southern California area for over 40 years. During the first three decades, the business operated as a sole proprietorship under the name: Lanphere and Associates.
​In 2006 we incorporated as L & S Architects, inc.  In accordance with California state law, all professional services offered and rendered by L & S, are provided under the responsible control and management of a Registered Architect, licensed by the state of California.
